Ancient Path Adventures LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of children and families who use our app. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected. Our app is designed for children and complies with child privacy requirements, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Google Play Store and Apple’s Made for Kids policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect personal information such as name, email address. We do not collect other personal information such as date of birth, or precise location.
The only information collected in our app falls into these categories:
- Favorites and Bookmarks
Children may mark certain stories or videos as favorites or save their place with bookmarks.
This information is stored securely in Firebase.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
This data is not shared with any third parties and is used only within the app.
- YouTube Kids Content
Our app embeds videos from YouTube Kids.
When a child plays a video, YouTube Kids (operated by Google LLC) may automatically collect limited technical information such as:
Device type and operating system
Network information (e.g., IP address)
Video playback events (play, pause, buffering, etc.)
Performance data (video quality, load times)
This information is collected and processed by Google, not by our app.
In some cases, YouTube Kids may show limited, family-friendly advertising. These ads are controlled entirely by YouTube Kids and not by our app.
2. How Information Is Used
- Names are used for personalization, emails are used for app sign in.
- Favorites and bookmarks are used only to allow children to continue where they left off or to revisit saved content.
- YouTube Kids technical data is used by Google to deliver and improve video playback and may also be used for limited advertising purposes within YouTube Kids.
3. Data Sharing
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties.
- Favorites and bookmarks remain within our Firebase system and are never shared.
- Only Google/YouTube Kids receives limited technical data when videos are played, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

4. Data Security
- All data stored in Firebase is encrypted both in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
- YouTube Kids content is delivered securely over HTTPS.
- We take reasonable measures to protect all stored data from unauthorized access.
5. Parental Rights
Parents may request the deletion of their child’s favorites or bookmarks at any time by contacting us at:

We will respond promptly and delete such data from our systems.
6. Advertising
- Our app does not serve its own ads.
- Limited, family-friendly advertising may appear in YouTube Kids videos. These ads are managed by Google/YouTube Kids, not by us.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above and provide notice within the app.
